I am Ulviye Alizade, an artist with a lifelong passion for creativity. Born in Azerbaijan and now living in Portugal. My journey with art began in childhood. At the age of 8, I started studying piano at a music school, where I spent my years immersed in melodies and harmonies. Music has always been a part of me and it always will be.

As a child, I loved sculpting tiny figures from plasticine and drawing whatever inspired me. Later, while studying at the Department of Cinema in Turkey, I supported myself by teaching piano. During my university years, I chose ceramic as an elective course, not as a random choice, but as something I had always wanted to explore further. Working with clay has always been one of my greatest joys. There is something magical about shaping raw material into something meaningful, something that carries both intention and emotion. It allows me to lose track of time and fully immerse myself in the creative process.

Nature is my greatest source of inspiration. Every piece I create is a reflection of my deep appreciation for organic forms, textures and the beauty of the natural world. Through ceramics, I bring a part of that beauty into everyday life.

My brand, Unique Traces, which I created from these thoughts, celeberates the uniqueness of the pieces shaped by different and unrepeatable touches. Each piece cannot be reproduced as an exact copy of another, even when they share similar forms.
